Masked as in Covid times? Is that standard practice just out of precaution in case all these people catch a bug?

The thing about right wing deregulation is somehow it is always about making it easier to drill for oil in national parks and never about making it a bit easier to build housing or connections to solar farms

Got it, thank you!! That seems a bit, regressive...?

This is all a bit over my head. If you earn 40k and make a 5.5% (£2200) contribution, you would pay 8% of £200, or £16 a year.

If you earned 60k and made the same % contribution (£3300), you would pay 2% of £1300, or £26 a year?

Have i got this right? Thank you Bluesky!

Where is there any confirmation of 'signing' the revised version? All I've seen is an unnamed Ukr official quoted saying they support the 'essence' of the revised plan with key issues to be discussed at presidential level. That's quite a distance from a signed deal

Trump’s rehabilitation of Putin sends the message to others that if you bully your neighbours you will be rewarded with propaganda wins like the red carpet treatment he gave Putin. You may even be rewarded with new territory & the ability to meddle in other nation’s constitution

Those who say Trump is doing something where others sat on the sidelines, sure, but since he’s been president, attacks on Ukraine have only increased - dramatically so. Putin couldn’t even keep a lid on it during the bizarre bro-fest in Alaska, bombs literally fell as they met

Thank you, took a far amount of googling and trawling through .gov but that seems to be correct! Personally i'd support AS working much sooner to encourage integration, contributing to society, mental health benefits etc. But glad to see that arbitrary cut off doesnt exist (yet...)

Does this mean that if an asylum claim is granted, they can then continue to work? Or just that they can continue to work while the application is processed up until the point asylum is granted?

If the latter, then surely it would unnecessarily stop people from working/paying tax/integrating?
