The richest club in the world needing to make penny pinching cuts and redundancies off the back of being bought by some leech billionaires is an apt- and pretty chilling- metaphor for late stage capitalism.

Now, to catch up with what's happening in US politics at the moment....Oh....oh no...crumbs
As INEOS make "necessary" cuts, it should never be forgotten that 20 years ago United were a self-sustainable debt-free club. This, in many senses, was needless

People losing jobs should provoke as many Qs about football's direction as the ESL and Bury

Man Utd are a modern tragedy – and Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the culprit
The British billionaire has overseen another round of redundancies at Old Trafford and is at risk, as Miguel Delaney argues, of prioritising financial gain over Manchester United’s infrastructure, leg...

Erling Haaland threw the ball off the back of Gabriel’s head, which by the way, is “striking an opponent” and should have been a straight red card, and the media said hardly a damn word about it.

Now you want to police things because a black Arsenal teenager copied a celebration?

Fuck. Off.

What an incredible country where an 8am train gets delayed and cancelled due to ‘congestion’ on a Sunday morning… we’re being taken for a ride

Mhm. Just not how football happens.
Some Michael Oliver red card stats

Man. City - 50 games - 0 red cards received
Liverpool - 57 games - 1 red card received
Arsenal - 54 games - 7 red cards received

Tell me there's no bias here.

What is the point of trying to analyse a game of football when a referee does that?

I'm sorry, but you cannot convince me that's anything other than an utterly corrupt decision from an official who has done this to us before - AT THIS VERY GROUND.

PGMOL and Oliver can just fuck off.

Michael Oliver will be in charge v Wolves this weekend. He has ref'd 57 Liverpool games & 54 Arsenal games yet has sent off 7 Arsenal players & just 1 Liverpool player.

He has not issued more than 5 red cards to any other side (Everton 52 games, Spurs 45).

He has never sent off a Man City player.

Didn’t watch the whole game but from the highlights last night I think Declan Rice could be the solution to our striker problem

If you don't give fouls for making some bleed after elbowing them, then you encourage players to flail arms out and not care about hitting someone

Watching Dean Henderson practicing his long passes before the game at Selhurst, all I can say is a lot more practice is needed…
Matt Turner is showing him up bigtime, you can see what Arteta saw in him

The difference between post-match reactions on here vs Twitter is crazy. So much rage baiting, attention seeking and interaction farming on there, glad it’s a bit more sane on this app.

Nketiah not securing a starting spot for Palace is a good sign that it was the right thing to let him go, as sad as it was

On the train home from Selhurst Park listening to the Arsenal game, when it went in from the corner I knew who had scored before the commentator said his name. Our wall at the back ❤️
