First russians bomb the power grids when cold weather is starting.

It’s not just that this is puerile and lawless. It’s that it is completely out of touch with the issues relevant to contemporary warfare. Russia fights like this. It makes Russians criminals. But it doesn’t make them winners.

Frieden kommt nicht, wenn der Angegriffene aufhört zu kämpfen. Was dann kommt, ist Okkupation - eine Weiterführung des Krieges mit Folter, Entführungen, Vergewaltigungen, Zwangsadoptionen, Mord. Wer will, dass „das Sterben aufhört“, muss den Aggressor stoppen und zurückdrängen.

Wer russische Angriffe als „Vergeltungsschläge“ bezeichnet, verwendet diesen Begriff entweder aus Unwissenheit oder um bewusst zu täuschen.
Russland greift die Ukraine seit Jahren jeden Tag an. Wenn die Ukraine ihre Selbstverteidigung einstellt, hat der Aggressor freie Fahrt.

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
