I am very glad to have been proven right on this Kim Davis business. I worry a great deal about what the radical majority on this Court will do with marriage equality but Davis's misbegotten mess of a case was never going to be the vehicle.

One of the many reasons it would be fantastic for Democrats to sweep tomorrow's elections decisively is that it will strengthen their hand in forcing a resolution of the GOP shutdown that will preserve access to affordable health care.
