First time voting in-person in a while. I missed coloring in the bubble, but using a touchscreen to make my selection, then printing it out so there’s still a physical ballot is 👍🏻.

Based on an etsy chart from CrossStitchWithArt. I swapped out the original colors and used the etoile floss for a little sparkle. #cross-stitch

New #cross-stitch project complete. From diyitart at Etsy, on 18 count rather than 14 (so more 4x6.5 rather than 5x7). It also went faster and with fewer errors, courtesy of the Markup r-xp app. Audio support: lots of the Queens podcast and the lastest JD Robb audiobook.

Not sure I’ll ever go back to cross-stitching without a counter (using Markup R-XP on my iPad). So much easier than marking off squares on paper charts, which I sometimes forget to take with me. Currently 53.32% done on this project. #cross-stitching

Sums it up.

On a lighter note, my sister finally stuck w/ GoT after several attempts, which she may regret by the later and seasons.

I recommended she at least get through season 4. And for fun sent her the Logan Lucky clip where the inmates don't believe that books 6-7 aren't out yet.

4”x4” #cross-stitch project based on chart from TheStitchPatterns. First attempt at 18 count Aida instead of 14. I like it and am nearly finished with another project on 18, but no plans to try 22 at this point.

Completed project: 5”x7” abstract on 14-count. Pattern from Etsy seller diyitart. #cross-stitch

Also late-night crafting because I can’t sleep. It’ll be a plant cozy if I don’t screw it up. When I get closer to the edge, I’ll baste another plastic canvas piece and keep going. #Bargello

First attempt at a non-x-stitch pattern. Not great, not awful. Next step is covering the back so I can hang it in my cube. #embroidery

When you’re not sure which of the many new(ish) shows on your watchlist to start.

First attempt at satin stitch. Not wild about it so far, but starting with a cheap kit for the practice. We’ll see how it looks when I complete the row above or below to see how the stitches meet up. #embroidery
