Well, that’s a new one. Pulled my shoulder out of socket cross stitching. I didn’t know it was a contact sport.

No cross stitch update last week because no stitching was done. But did manage some this week, so here’s the difference between 31 October & 14 November 2025.

Maureen's been cross-stitching for as long as she's been a /penguins fan. This custom Sidney Crosby embroidery features an incredible 13,823 stitches in 34 different shades!

She's traveled over 13 hours to see Crosby and the Penguins play in #NHLGlobalSeries this Friday and Sunday.

This took FOREVERRRRRR. Or y'know, something like 150 hours to stitch. I started back in Feb and have been working it in the background while stitching all the other designs I've released this year. 😅

Something I've been wanting to do for a whiiile. It's a book tracker! But with quilt squares!

Almost 2 weeks late, but I’ve finished my Halloween stitching project. Thankfully, spooky season lives eternally in my heart, and I have no idea how time works.

Heather, 31, lives in a cluttered home in Pittsburgh where cats lick up leftover ketchup and The Illiad and Le Chanson de Roland - two books she's reading when not cross-stitching - prop up the latest doll drama on the floor. She is arranging dino chicken nuggets, a Laurie Berkner song come to life.

I put in several hours of cross stitching today because it was Reading Day at work.
As is the nature of cross-stitching, it barely looks like I did anything. Hence, not posting a progress picture.
But maybe I’ll start doing that.
Aren’t hobbies awesome?? 🤩
Started a brand new pattern today to make Van Gogh’s Sunflowers for my work office 🌻
The decorating theme of my work office that I’m going for is Autumnal Fairy. 🧚‍♀️ 🧡
There are so many variations of yellow. This is going to be quite a challenge! 🪡 🧵

Just like Van Gogh who made the paintings to decorate his home in anticipation of a visit from his friend and artist, Paul Gauguin, you can cross stitch this...

Im going to start cross stitching. Anyone have any pointers they would be willing to give out?
I need a work project and this seems perfect.

😂 Love that. That's why I do collage. I feel that people are safe as long as I confine my scissors to the craft room. 😆 Happy cross stitching. Hope you'll share some of your projects with us.

Next cross stitch project: large hunk of black on black stitching, because I love to suffer apparently (it’s a cat in a bottle eventually, but I have to get through the black cat body first & it is VERY hard on the eyes, nowhere near as contrasting as it looks here
