Just coming in here to say that Carreg Cennan Castle is absolutely A1 - the stones, the setting, the mysterious caves. You have to go.

The Vagina Museum is just one month away from closing. Forever. A perfect storm of circumstances means that we may have to close our doors permanently and cease all digital activities. But we're not going to go down without a fight. Save the Vagina Museum. www.gofundme.com/f/btscc2

Well this sucks. Museum caves in in response to a hostile article in the local press written by a former Restore Trust director.

If you’re gonna have these initiatives at your museum, you need to have some backbone too.

I’ll tell this to any and every museum that ever asks how to roll out DEI initiatives. If you want to do that- if you really want to- then you need to STAND WITH YOUR STAFF when the trolls descend. Because they will. Every time. The institution needs to stand strong.

The best thing about walking past a (partially) 12th C church is when you bump into the warden who lets you in!

Sunny days at the end of the Christmas holidays are the best

At least having a Christmas flu has given me a cast iron excuse for not going out on New Year’s Eve (the very worst night to go out ever)

I’m at a Spa for the first time and it’s the least relaxing experience ever. Never have I felt more out of place. I don’t know how anything works. There’s a changing room with other men in it. They’ve run out of slippers. My partner has gone into a mysterious room and I’m so alone and terrified.
