Nobody denies CK’s right to go to college campuses and yell whatever he wanted. But that is not the RIGHT way to practice politics, Ezra. Repeating your unsupported opinions over and over without responding to rebuttal is not the right way to practice politics.

Weird, form versus content divide: for Ezra Klein’s version of the left only process matters: the debate FORM is good in itself (CK didn't debate, but pretended to); for the right only content matters (they cancel each other for insufficient fealty to Trump no matter the context).

At least Abrego Garcia knows now that people are on it. Can't even imagine what it must be like in there, no idea of what's going on in the outside world. Hope matters.

Maybe this is cosmic justice, karma, whatever. The US has done so many horrible things over the centuries, slavery and continued oppression, absence of decent health care, oligarchy, that we are finally being forced to look at the plain truth of who we have always been: Trump is unmasking us.

This, from a country whose economy has, for more than 20 years, been substantially subsidised by the benefits flowing from connection to a major movie franchise associated with a piece of fantasy literature...
This statement in particular is horrifying and clearly not true: “Real impact on our economy will come from areas such as physics, chemistry, maths, engineering and biomedical sciences.”
