One odd thing about this year's list is that after all our case-making and voting, we ended up without any MMOs. Maybe the team's MMO players will coordinate a big comeback next year, when we'll have WoW Midnight to talk about.

Also we didn't "forget" to include Skyrim or Destiny 2 or anything else lol, and of course we each individually come away from the process with our own disappointments. But there's always next year's list!

When you can only pick 100 games, there are a lot of games you can't pick.

The most common grievances are stuff like "no Quake?!" but of course the point of the exercise is to make hard decisions, especially about classics, eg by admitting that you haven't actually played Quake in two decades and maybe a game one of the other 30+ people on the team likes should go in.
