Sometimes I think about how all of the big nerd culture juggernauts (Star Wars, Marvel, Game of Thrones) wrapped right before COVID hit. It’s coincidence, of course, but it still feels like a bleak fin-de-ciècle for a carefree form of existence that we took for granted and that will never return
Sometimes I think about how the last movie I saw in theaters before covid hit was The Rise of Skywalker
So I try to forget that and convince myself it was Avengers Endgame instead
