Big moment for Europe: in December, fully electric cars outsold petrol-only cars in the EU for the first time.

This shows that clear, consistent policy works. Which is exactly why backtracking now would be a mistake. Rolling back targets or creating uncertainty would slow investment and innovation.

The one good thing that Trump unintentionally did was expose how big of hypocrites and frauds most conservatives are.

He got them all to completely tell on themselves, expose themselves as the biggest liars, and betray everything they supposedly believed in.

Send this widely.

Tonight will get it outlined. Tomorrow night we’ll light it up and keep it going all week.“

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse serving veterans. He died trying to protect protestors being assaulted. A group of anonymous & masked men fired chemicals into his face, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him in broad daylight in front of witnesses. Then his government smeared him & defended his murder.

Great listen on why housing and land use policy is so important.

This hit close to home, having recently moved to Southern California from a walkable/public transit-able urban environment.
Today on Volts: you may have noticed that some climate/energy types (like me) have become obsessed with housing & urban land use lately. Why? Why are they climate issues? What's the connection? The great @mateosfo.bsky.social and I attempt to answer those questions.
