This was a fun project! I snagged a skull from a dollar store and painted it sugar skull-style to reflect the things in my area that I love this time of year - sunflowers and scrub-jays! Now I want to find time for one with blanketflowers and goldfinches too.

It's flicker season in my yard again! This week I've seen both of these two back at the suet feeder in addition to a RSFL-type non-intergrade male. 🎨🪶
