The Evergleam aluminum Christmas tree. Invented and manufactured by The Aluminum Specialty Company in Manitowoc WI. First introduced the Christmas of 1959 .Peaked by 1965 and out of favor by the early 1970s . Production ended in 1972. Now very popular again and vintage trees sell for hundreds.
