Labour strikes aren’t new!

The first recorded strike in history took place in Egypt some 3,200 years ago!

The ‘Strike Papyrus’ records that tomb workers of King Ramesses III downed tools over pay and conditions circa 1157 BC!

saturation with Tolkien spinoffs has somehow not prepared our culture for the arrival of dark lords bearing a gift that everyone becomes convinced they can wield to accomplish great things but just makes them dependent and start whispering about preciouses if you suggest just throwing it away

After The Storm... Early morning. Strike a pose. Danica The White Tailed Deer, giving me her best over the shoulder look. She was enjoying some quality time, with a few of her friends. What a beauty.

Apple Watch has all these health features that maybe sort of work but are fairly imprecise by design. So Apple says “Talk to your doctor” and then if you talk to your doctor they're like “Huh, yeah, I dunno keep an eye on it” as they type frantically into Epic MyChart during your 8-minute visit.

Not to be contrary but I think that's the same America or at least the same Disney.

They were eager to jump in the direction they thought power was going 2019-23 in order to make profit and now in 2025 they think power is going the other way, they jump the other way.

There was never a spine there.
One stark marker of how much our society has devolved in just a few years is Bob Iger personally got on a call to convince us to let Disney/HULU make the 1619 Project. That America no longer exists.
