I looked at my milk weed a few weeks ago, wondering if I should start removing it b/c it looks really ratty, but at a closer look, found more than a dozen of these lovely monarch caterpillars eating up a storm!
Not sure where they’re are settling but hopefully they can make it to their winter home

The Concert for Peace was the brainchild of Mike Turner and arranged this event. Halfway thru the show during a Q&A between Turner and Marin Alsop, the conductor, he asked what she thought of the Schuster Center which he had built while he was Dayton’s Mayor……

Sounds beautiful, doesn’t it? I thought so & attended at the Schuster Center in Dayton, Ohio. This concert was to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accord and NATOs presence in Dayton but NATO left the week before(?).
