🎄🥞✨ Guess Who’s Coming to Pancake Breakfast? ✨🥞🎄

Three very familiar faces from the North Pole are making a special stop in Beacon Hill-Cyrville… but for now, their identities are under wraps. 😄

🎅 Guest #1: Loves cookies, works one night a year, and has a laugh that shakes the room.

From 2019 to 2023, 61% of fatal or major injury collisions in #OttCity involved high-risk driving behaviour. A pedestrian’s life depends on your speed:

30 km/h: 90% survival rate
40 km/h: 60% survival rate
50 km/h: 20% survival rate
60+ km/h: survival drops to almost zero

Today is World Diabetes Day.

This day means a lot to me. It is a reminder that diabetes does not follow a pattern. It can affect anyone, in ways that are not always visible or predictable. Having faced my own health challenges, I have learned that it is not about control.

Thank you @pbickerton.bsky.social
One of the strategic failures of #OttCity Road Safety Action Plan is the lack of communications about where speed camera revenues are spent.

I got the list via #ATIP. Here are some projects that were only made possible because of these revenues. Full data at tinyurl.com/4brrmh9j
