Once a week, I co-teach an AP lit class to teach them about poetry. A girl was being very short and kind of rude today, so I politely asked if everything is okay, and she legitimately hates poetry so much that it makes her angry. I make her angry because of the poems, and anyway I feel sad now.

He torched the trees
And hoped to singe the sky

Genuinely delighted to download a PhD thesis from a university repository where the author has neglected to remove the words "BITCH THIS IS YOUR THESIS" from the filename.

Detective Tom Flannery lost his job for a crime he never committed. Now, he is being forced to solve a murder by the same people who framed him.

The AP Lit kids at my school do a March Madness poetry bracket every year with 16 poems.

This year "Daddy" by Sylvia Plath took first, and "The Ultrasound Shows Me an Empty Sack" by @stemkay.bsky.social took a strong second.
