I'm finding myself enjoying this game even more than Vampire Survivors and that's quite an accomplishment.

It is an annoying move. Not sure if it helps with the memory, but what I do is I number them top to bottom (1 2 3) and that helps me personally because I'm better with number sequences. Could use ABC if that's more your thing. I do not recommend turning on the vow of Rivals. That fight is real hard.

The game is very fun and it looks gorgeous. But $80? Not even close. If these companies want to charge more money you better make a game that can live up to it. 7.5/10

Mario Kart World is a mixed bag to me. The stuff that works (knockout tour) is excellent but the stuff that doesn't work (free roam) is just disappointing. I like the chaos of the items because people who aren't as good at driving have a chance to do well and win too. Accessibility is important.

The roster is pretty impressive but I have to admit I wish more racers from MK 8 Deluxe weren't omitted. There are a lot of super fun newcomers though that no one would have ever picked to be playable. Some people hate the chaos of the items but I actually enjoy it. Gives more people a chance to win

Free roam mode feels like Nintendo adding this mode in as a justification for charging $80. Open world games need to have things to do and Mario Kart World has basically nothing. It's a shame too because it could have been something fun but instead it comes off as forced and not well thought out.

The normal races are also still fun and with that extra 12 racers it's even more chaotic than past games. What isn't fun? The free roam mode. This is incredibly boring. Aside from a couple collectibles, the only other content are the P-switch challenges. The reward for all three? Stickers for karts.

The game is crazy fun. It's Mario Kart, of course it's fun, especially online or with a group in the same room. But only certain aspects are fun. The new game mode Knockout Your for example is excellent. 24 racers, 6 laps and at the end of each lap the bottom 4 players are eliminated.

Full disclosure I only paid $40 because I had leftover eShop gift cards. That doesn't change the fact that the game has an MSRP of $80.

Glad to hear you're powering through. This game is excellent. I can't remember the last time I was this interested in a game's world, story and characters. When I'm not playing it, I'm thinking about playing it.
