There is absolutely no evidence that therapy alone improves the distress of transgender youth and widespread evidence that therapy is useful in conjunction with parental support and access to gender-affirming care.

So Trump is threatening to use the FBI against any hospital providing transgender surgeries to those under 18.

Note: Such procedures, typically limited to top surgery and in some rare cases, bottom surgery at 17 before going to college, are legal.

This is meant to scare hospitals out of care.

California is basically instituting a sports ban.

In case y'all missed it - Utah Republicans ordered a study on transgender healthcare, expecting it to come back unsupportive.

Instead, it found that trans youth care was safe and effective, and that transgender youth need it.

When the Cass Review came out last year, the NYT rushed to cover it complete with post notifications. After reviews in Germany and Utah came out supporting gender affirming care for trans youth, dead silence. You can be just as biased in what you don't cover as what you do.

A bill in Arkansas would ban gender affirming HAIRCUTS for transgender youth.

HAIRCUTS.

This is a straight up North Korea state sanctioned hairstyle proposed law for youth.

The bill would allow anyone to sue someone who affirms a young person's transition, and it specifically mentions hairstyles.
