All these social and quasi-social apps keep telling me to connect with my friends. Why would I want to do that? I like these people. I don’t want to know what they are posting online.

Hey kids, if you ever wondered what it was like for your parents on 12/31/1999, this night before the #TikTokban is pretty close. If we wake up and still have access to #TikTok on 1/19, then it will be just like 1/1/2000.

You know what we should do tomorrow? Bring back #followfriday. Who’s with me? Let’s rebuild our lists from scratch and add new voices who are growing here when they couldn’t grow in the old place.

Just saw a commercial for #toyotathon. Seems like it starts earlier every year. At least #happyhondadays has the decency to until after Thanksgiving.

So, should we revive #followfriday? I could use some fresh suggestions.
