If we're finally going to crack down about lying to Congress under oath, I think there are several Cabinet members and a few Supreme Court justices whose testimonies might need revisiting.

It's simple. Everyone in the US enjoys the protections of the Constitution - even visitors. So if someone commits a crime here, you give them due process here. You charge them here, try them here, and sentence them here. You don't deport them to an offshore torture prison.

Ten years ago, I boarded a plane from Austin to Dulles. When the guy next to me sat down,I thought I recognized the Congressional pin but wasn't sure. We shared a conversation on the way, and the flight with Mike McCaul that day was a memorable experience. I found him genuine and personable.
