Love that show! It's such a delight. I'm curious to see how the American adaptation goes.

My condolences, Johanna. KC was a great guy. An important figure in superhero history too, but above all that such a good dude.

Oh, maybe in the Wonder Woman Psychology book? I did a chapter in that comparing Wertham with Marston that may have touched on it. It's been a while!

I don't think it was me. I've written about it in the Catwoman book, and now the Batgirl book, but not in a standalone piece that I can recall. Apart from an essay back in university!

I don't have anything profound to say about it all. It gets worse and worse with each new account. Ultimately, I find a slice of optimism in knowing that the downfall of one grotesque storyteller came about because of the heroism of several courageous storytellers

Today, the Batgirls pop up here and there across the Bat-line of books. Cass and Babs are regulars in Birds of Prey, and Cass also has her own book at the moment, though Steph hasn't been seen prominently in a while. The characters remain a fixture, just not a constant one. #NeverASidekick

Eventually Steph and Cass became Batgirls again, and all three Batgirls teamed up in the aptly named series, Batgirls, that captured the joy and camaraderie of the trio, with their mutual love and support at the forefront of the book. #NeverASidekick

Stephanie and Cassandra were benched for years following the reboot, but eventually made their way back into the DC universe. Stephanie returned as Spoiler, her past as Robin and Batgirl erased, while Cass came back as Orphan. #NeverASidekick

The Batgirl of Burnside run that followed ushered in a new era of fun and frivolity for the newly young Barbara, who got up to all of the usual shenanigans young people get up to. #NeverASidekick
