At my condo we ripped out the lawn a few years ago and planted things native to Southern California. I made sure to include local milkweed for the Monarch butterflies. Their caterpillars seem to be doing well. The rain from Hurricane Hillary helped a lot.

Timed my workout so that I could be on the roof of the parking garage just before 9 for #spaceX launch out of Vandenberg. First stage was visible at about T+30 until engine cutoff. Second stage barely visible for maybe 10 seconds.
