Don't waste your time thinking China will allow the Yuan to strengthen. The Yuan versus the Dollar is up (orange), but that's just offsetting Dollar weakness. Trade-weighted Yuan (white) is stable and won't rise. China needs a structurally undervalued Yuan.

Man kann beklagen, was die Amerikaner in ihre Papiere schreiben oder dass Putin sich nicht rührt. Oder man kann die Stärke Europas endlich nutzen und in den Prozess einbringen. Assets, Schattenflotte, Öl, Gas. Handlungsfähigkeit beweist man am besten dadurch, dass man handelt.

Everybody always forget that Putin needs war to survive. The "peace" plan is nothing more than yet another sham ploy to gain momentum on the ground by stalling help to Ukraine, and to divide Ukraine's allies.

Der 28-Punkte-Plan verstößt gegen internationales Recht und bestehende Verträge, viele Punkte gehen gegen deutsche Interessen, sowohl sicherheitspolitisch als auch finanziell. Wer sofort "Hurra" ruft, scheint damit einverstanden, Deutschland schlechter zu stellen.

One thing I do know for sure is that Zelenskyy will never be reelected. Ukrainians will remember him for his bravery, especially on Feb 24th, but Ukrainians are really fed up with corruption and power abuse too.
