Everyone else came here (for good reason) so I decided I might as well tag along to stand silently in the corner and stare at my shoes

Tell me how old of a #demoscene kid you are through photos. Send your stuff to @bloopmuseum.bsky.social for the computer arts&culture exhibit.

This game is super fun and addictive and Amber is playing it again, so go and check out the stream and the game!

(tomorrow morning I may learn why I should not have stayed up until 3am playing it last night)
We're starting a new indie game today - so please, nobody pee in the BALLxPIT.

Grab a cuppa, get cosy, and come torment me (twitch extension enabled)?

Jo Cox was killed by a far right terrorist. Brianna Ghey was killed by transphobic classmates with violent and dehumanising obsessions. Neither murder had anything to do with being more civil or the victims’ presence on social media

A month later it is again Bandcamp Friday and here is a thing which is well worth picking up if you haven't already
It's Bandcamp Friday! Go get some new new music, including the epic 40-track comp ONE MORE TUNE, celebrating JD Twitch of Optimo, which includes a new Moodles modular piece among many others.

Here's project coordinator, music writer, and ILX legend @nedraggett.bsky.social discussing the comp.

Well THAT'S how to anticipate Bandcamp Friday -- a new Hydroplane album out of nowhere, first in over two decades! (Side project/alternate identity of indie-pop legends the Cat's Miaow, also great.)

IMHO
It'd be great if the music biz would focus on the real issues for music creators/artists today: streaming & AI's absolute rinsing of muscians hard work for little to no money, instead of going after a wonderful NFP archival website for preserving materials they stopped manufacturing 65yrs ago.

Ahh, Easter, one of my favourite calendar fixtures. Time off work, lots of chocolate, and Revision demoparty.
We’re soon going live!

The streams (in terms of actual event content) will start around Friday afternoon.

No matter whether you’re with us on-site or remotely - looking forward to having an awesome weekend with all of you!
