I'd like to take time to acknowledge the people who donate their time and do their part to make this country great. These people don't have high profiles or powerful friends but they are as important as all the inductees in to Order of Canada.

Today is my birthday, and all I want is for you to play w all your hearts.
This is the last pic I took of my father. It's the last time I saw him before the dementia took him away. We watched #Oilers games together whenever we could. He would love this series.

It's worth noting that at the same time Danielle Smith is making it easier for a sovereignty referendum to move forward, she is deliberately dragging her feet on calling a byelection for Edmonton-Strathcona and thus delaying the point when the leader of the opposition can take his seat.

I hope everyone who votes ABC in #saanichgulfislands chooses #ElizabethMay. Not just because she's the best ABC option, but because she is an important voice in Parliament.

Everyone I've spoken to has concluded #ElizabethMay is the one. My choice was solidified when a read a Facebook post by a conservative suggesting we not vote strategically. lol
I am really struggling with my vote this time. I want to vote May. A lot of neighbours are switching to liberal and my fear is they are creating room for the CPC candidate to win.

If you have not seen #Adolecence yet, I highly recommend. I spent years practicing law in youth court. This show is the closest to reality that I've ever seen.

When we left the city for a small island, we prepared for the cultural shift. We thought we did a pretty good job, but our island community recently experienced the loss of a young man, and I've realized I was not prepared for the impact of that loss.
