This is the scary thing right now. Congress is quickly becoming irrelevant as one of the branches of power in the US.
The bet made by guys like Musk and Trump is that Congress is too weak to stand up to any act, even the dismantling of the three party system that gives them power.

The US isn't going to own Gaza. Between the security costs, the construction costs, the unexploded ordinance, inevitable local sabotage, the forcible removal of 2 million people and the geopolitical fallout, it's Trump blowing hot air out his arse - again.

Not long ago, Trump’s son-in-law was praising Gaza as fine beachfront real estate.
Now Trump is saying that the USA will “own” the Gaza Strip & “create jobs”.
It’s hard to tell what’s policy & what’s distraction with Trump, but this certainly looks like property theft through genocide.
Hateful.
