Yes! Even w/fiber arts, this is possible. I have several types of fiber arts I engage in, but also have been curious about acrylic painting as I’ve done a variety of projects over 1+ years. I tried water colors before that for a year, but found more joy in immersing myself in drawing & acrylics.

Knitting has my heart over crochet also. I do crochet baby blankets though as I usually get very short notice to make a gift - lol. I do like being able to make color changes easier too with crochet. But for garments, love, love, love knitting.

We save the clean scrubbed potato peels and air dry them so they are not too moist when we later fry them for a topping. It’s so tasty to fry these along with fresh sage leaves and then use them as a topping.
The idea for this was from a LA Times 2020 article with recipes for Thanksgiving.

I just went for it rather than frogging all of my progress. I didn’t have instructions, just reasoning and a limited skill set. Sock madness can really elevate one’s skills while having a lot of fun with one’s team. They even give prizes for good stories of one’s knitting woes during the event.

Thank you. Is she a sock knitter? Maybe a knit along like Sock Madness (I think Feb signups) will get her in a groove to compete - and learn so many skills while at it. I think before I joined that fun competition I would not have easily taken scissors to me work to put in a missing heel. But…

That’s definitely an option too. Thanks for the input. I also thought I could pull back the last section as I’m doing pretty well with respect to time on this one. I’m loving it!
