The talk among the Cubs after their workout at Navin Field is the temporary bleachers in LF field and the left field line that was shortened by 39 feet. The new fence is just 300' 2" from home plate. A 20 feet screen will make it harder to hit the ball into the stands.

The patrons who could not get right field bleacher seats were allowed to sit in the portion of the temporary bleachers in left field that had been completed.
