That the Department of the Interior is currently run by absolute amoral buffoons isn't going to break my holiday spirit, indeed I am energized by my increasing belief that their time atop the agency and specific brand of gleeful cruelty will be coming to a close soon, with a reckoning for them.

As an addition to this informative thread, it's illegal to take any personnel action against a federal employee (including firing, suspension, reassignment or transfer) for refusing to obey an order that would require the individual to violate a law, rule, or regulation. 5 U.S.C. § 2302(b)(9)(D).
