Co-creator of Wrapped In Plastic magazine. Author of books: Ominous Whoosh: A Wandering Mind Returns to Twin Peaks, The Essential Wrapped In Plastic, and Devious Dreams: Reimagining David Lynch's Mulholland Drive.
First heard about Twin Peaks in January of 1990, when the local TV critic wrote about seeing it in LA. In April, I watched (and recorded) TP the night it premiered. It so happens I was selected to be a Nielsen family that week and I recorded my watches and *rewatches.* Hope I helped the ratings!

I like that collection of books! 😉

What would it have been like, I wonder, if David Lynch had made something surreal? Maybe now we can find out!

Ah, very interesting. Bruce got them from someone on the production team, so maybe only a dozen made it out "into the wild." But perhaps more are floating around out there....

That’s great.

Beyond great.

Perfect.

Wrong one. (I'm in Flow. 😆)

Amazingly, I actually appear—for like 5 brief seconds—in one of those films!

Oh, shoot! I forgot about that. Well, next time I'm in the store....

To be honest, I only read The Elephant Man section in the store(!). It was only 2 pages long.🙁 The rest of the book did look pretty good, though.

Let us know if you think it's an improvement over the blu-ray. I passed on it during the recent flash sale because I'd heard there wasn't much difference (I did get Mulholland Drive though). If the 4K FWWM is better, I might grab it at the B&N sale.

Jeff, I'm eagerly awaiting it. I guess it's moving slowly through the distribution system. It's worth it to support the local indie store, but I may break down and order another from the publisher!🤫

Sorry, but I can’t wrap my head around “MAGA friend.”

As more time passes since The Return, I've come to better appreciate its ambiguity. While I think both Frost and Lynch had a specific sensibility about what the work meant, I'm certain that it invites multiple readings (just like the original series and FWWM did--and still do).

Maybe I need to re-watch it. 🙄

Yes, Jeremy does some great work. I've seen it in person. But these are from a different maker.
