This Great War postcard shows kilted soldiers of a Labour unit.

Armed only with shovels, they’re in a ruined village, wearing leather waistcoats, some garment as a sash and their Tam O’Shanters.

Found this book in an antique store some time ago and been meaning to share it. It is called 'The Mediator' and one of the pages has a clover pressed into it. I regretfully have yet to read the book. Far too many on the list.

One of my favorites: After The Storm 5613. I have yet to know the printer of the postcard, but I have a few that are similar. No writing on the back.
