Film photography these days is wild. Price of film is ridiculous but you can get a bonafide clockwork marvel of a camera that takes heartbreakingly great images and you can often learn how to repair and adjust it because it's fully mechanical and it's like $75 on ebay. Or $10 at an antique shop.

I have lots of thoughts about Andor, but after the finale, what I will say is this. Andor does an amazing job of establishing a theme with Nemik's manifesto and sticking to it. To me, it's about how those "random acts of insurrection" are occurring.

This year is the 20th anniversary of Katrina, and it's got me thinking about it, something I haven't done in depth since I went through it. I am BLESSED that my family lived in Hammond and had a car. We were able to get out. But there were hundreds of thousands who couldn't.
