Isn't this exactly what the gun fondlers said they needed their machine guns for? Presumably they're going to be volunteering for the defensive militia.

I still have a Spotify playlist lying around called FohfBau after a back and forth between you and @bau.bsky.social in the old country. I wish he had come over too.

You will go into every branch (i.e. you branch too) but once you've branched you don't initially know which branch you are on. Once you look around, the probability of finding yourself on any particular branch is given by the square of the wave function.

Another, possibly optimistic, option in circulation is that he stops proposing tariffs in the first place because he knows he'll get laughed at when he backs down, instead of being praised for achieving a deal when he backs down.

Starmer doesn't seem to realise that, if you consistently accept the way your opponents frame a question, you'll find it hard to reject the answers that they give.
If you keep telling voters that Farage is right in his analysis, it will be hard to persuade them that he's wrong in his prescriptions.

a society where "bad immigrants" are demonised is a society where no immigrant can truly feel welcome, because aren't we all just one wrong turn or accident away from being unemployed? on disability benefits? unable to care for our children without state help? just no such thing as a safe immigrant

Through agentic ai. I.e. lots of specialist tools working together. Some for understanding natural language, some for doing database queries, some for planning which agent does what, some for checking the final output and suggesting revisions, etc.

Kids' TV is the medium hanging fruit. It'll come with knobs to set for how much education, morality, zaniness, etc etc you want and then just stream 24/7.

The information in a piece of writing is way higher than other forms of art. Not sure that fully answers your question but it's a difference. Maybe there's just more to get right? E.g. a pot might blend two or three ideas, a painting perhaps five or ten, tops. Every sentence has to convey something.
