Are we doing Blazers Blue Sky?!? NBA Blue Sky?!? Maybe yes? Please don't make me go back to the other place. I hate it there.

Every time I think I've settled on Cool Ranch, I have a Nacho Cheese chip and my brain melts.

When the comfort of snuggling a project bag outweighs the irritating tickle of the yarn pull. 🧶

I'm pretty dang proud of this new pattern of mine.

I think I'm an ankle sock convert. At least for cozy, comfort, vacation snuggling.🧶

Is it just me or does Blue Sky seem to actually be picking up steam? 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I'll be releasing a new sock pattern on Friday, including instructions and approximate yarn requirements for an ankle sock version.

Am I posting a picture of my dog, in a sweater I designed and knit for him, for attention? Yep. Yup. I sure am. 🧶

I'm revamping a few hat patterns this week, just in time for fall knitting season. These colourways are also waiting to be revealed, but I can't wait to show y'all what these designs looks like in new colors! 🧶
September 5, 2023 at 5:41 PM
I'm lucky enough to work with some amazing dyers and woodworking artisans, so I took advantage and created a beautiful new pattern. Once the dyer has revealed the colorway, I will too! 🧶

I've been playing with coffee art lately. I find my attempts may not be exactly on the mark, but they are a good Rorschach test. What do you see?

This is my ELO app. Everytime I see the icon, Mr Blue Sky pops in my head.

Seems real quiet. Threads? Twitter outrage over so soon?

Joining the knitting soapbox trend. If you can knit, purl, follow well written instructions, and have the desire, you can knit ANYTHING.
July 5, 2023 at 6:06 PM
Especially important for gauge swatches, IMO. 🧶
Knitting content/controversial opinion: blocking is not synonymous with stretching and pinning. Pinning should be the exception, only for lace shawls made of wool/silk/other animal fibres. Other projects, though: nope. Wash and dry as you will the FO.

I lied. I'm not making socks at all. 🧶
July 4, 2023 at 9:21 PM
I'm seeing a lot of ARTIST threads to help show people's work. Which is great. But it seems those artists only consider painting or drawing to be art. Perhaps they should broaden their definition because a handknit sock is art. This handknit wrap is art.🧶

Still hiding in that corner, still knitting socks. 🧶
July 4, 2023 at 4:14 PM
Do we think I can turn some of Blazers Bluesky/Twitter into knitting Bluesky/Twitter? I feel like it's a challenge I'm up for. 🫣
July 3, 2023 at 10:20 PM
If you need me, I'll be sitting in my knitting corner, ignoring fireworks and making more socks. Join me if you'd like. 🧶

I'll see your appliances and raise you cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and dust from under the couch. Why must we?
You know, few things make me more irrationally irritated than having to clean my cleaning appliances. The dishwasher filter? The washing machine drum? The vacuum brush? Please. This is balderdash.

My newest pattern is always my favorite. But I'm pretty sure this one will stay at No1 for a while ...
