Whom among you hast not committed *indescribably gross acts* with an underage companion, cast the first stone!

Me: *grabs a whole bag of rocks*

The partaking of the deed makes you trustworthy, because you aren't casting stones at your friends if you're filling your closet with stone-worthy deeds.

"barely legal" 🤢
These guys who think of women like youtubers think of products in unboxing videos need to... there's just too much ick.

And, dear republican women, trying to be a 'pick me girl'* in a pedophile club is no way to live. Ask Ghislaine.

*this is also a shitty way to think of women.

This has been my argument against gmo's for decades now.
It's not that they are safe to eat, though you expect that the revelant agencies would check that before seeding the fields with them, it's that they are intellectual property.
You don't buy seed. You buy a license to seed.

JUST POSTED: Everyone Is Wrong, our response to the recent series of arguments that – based on the hypothesis that Harris lost and Dems underperformed in 2024 due to (summarizing broadly) voters’ perceptions that Dems are too far left – Democrats need to move right to win.

In other words, simply having the courage of their convictions would have been BOTH more morally credible AND more politically savvy! Instead now they look like fearful empty suits, with no core, chasing public opinion like pathetic tryhards but always just a little behind. Feh.

They could have simply stuck by their principles: immigration needs to be orderly, yes, but by & large it is good & we need more of it. That would have 1) made them look principled even in the face of shifting public opinion, & ALSO 2) positioned them where public opinion was heading!

So now, the public is (predictably) herding *away* from Trump, toward a more sympathetic view of immigration and ... here are Dems, stuck with the panicked reactionary stances they took on the advice of the Moderate to Win bros, unable to properly ride & harness this shift.

The New York Times wrote a breathless scandal article about a mayoral candidate who was born in Uganda as a teenager checking the box “African American” on a college application form for a college he never attended. That’s real news! A scandal!

Ultimately the problem is this: the paper is controlled not by scrupulous reporters but by a clique of Leonhardt types, who surround themselves with chattering class nitwits, cogitate on the news mostly through insular group chats and similar, and always think the GOP has at least half a point

I’m fine conceding that a bunch of nebulously incriminating Epstein statements do not a story make, but in that case neither does the Biden Parkinson’s nonsense, or literally any component of the various Clinton/Wikileaks pseudo-scandals, or tons of other right-wing stuff the paper has laundered
