Brief 🧵, as someone who has studied mass shootings for 13 years:

-gender does not cause them
-SSRIs, no
-mental illness, no
-internet/gaming, no

Above can be compounding factors—but motive is complex, often very. The most fundamental combo:

suicidality + rage + isolation + easy access to guns

This is great: a National Guardsman standing up to say every member of the National Guard and military "is legally obliged to disobey an illegal order."
My name is Captain Dylan Blaha, and this message is for members of the National Guard across the USA.
I've served in the Illinois Army National Guard for over 12 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan and three years on active duty in Europe.
What's going on right now is not normal.

When I say Republicans are systemically corrupt and populated with conmen, frauds, and criminals, this is what I mean.

And you have only to look at Trump's current administration to see the criminality is OFF THE SCALE, but sadly, the GOP no longer is willing to hold their own accountable.

The whole point is to ruin farms…a fire sale on farmland that can be sold to corporate farms who can pollute the water and air with impunity.

There will be no one left in these communities to demand these corporations be regulated or pay taxes.
Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ?

Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?
