Thank goodness that other countries are studying this and taking action to resist it. The US will be in the Dark Ages for a while, but the torch will stay lit and we can adopt best practices when the MAGA fever finally breaks. We’re gonna have to go through some things but it will, eventually.

I am overwhelmed by disappointment and a feeling of desperate urgency. Instead of running toward this existential problem and applying our best minds to solve it - the stupidest, most cynical and greedy people are in charge and are doing the opposite. Our descendants will curse us.

it is so important to remember that IN THE MOMENT there was no one who thought jan. 6 was some innocent protest gone awry. everyone recognized it for what it was.
