Here it is again. Am still thinking ‘gaming piece’ but it could be something else entirely. A mudlarking mystery.

From a recent mudlarking trip to the Thames Foreshore, a lovely piece of worked bone with a hole drilled in the centre. My guess is 18th/19th century because of the location, but I have no idea what it might have been used for, perhaps a gaming piece? Ideas welcome 1/ #mudlark #ThamesForeshore

Thames Water are a bunch of wankers whose slapdash attention to road safety and appropriate diversions round their roadworks is going to get someone killed.

Watching the film, Yesterday on the BBC. That bit when he meets John Lennon, played by Robert Carlyle, always gets me. Heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. Directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis. #YesterdayMovie

Had a lie in this morning. I was going to cut the grass and trim the hedges, but I think it’s going to rain. So, I might just go to the pub.

I have never known a US presidency like this one! It's mind-blowing that so many politicos & businessmen both at home and abroad fear Trump's disapproval & jump to fall in with his whims. He's become the world's most powerful personality & he must love that feeling! Wheeling & dealing with toadies!

What a feckin palaver. After telling me I was blocked because of, god knows what, from getting a ticket, Ticketmaster has sent me an email saying, I’m in and I’ve got a ticket to see Bob Dylan. I’m hopeless at getting tickets. I’ve only seen Bob twice before. He’s brilliant. A 20th century legend.

There are 4.5 million children living in poverty in the UK.

Meanwhile, there are more British billionaires than ever before.

I think we should tax the rich to lift children out of poverty. Why is that such a radical idea?
