@annemuntean.bsky.social Anne, thank you for the posts you make. I have been avoiding the news because all I have right now are MSNBC, CNN, and the major networks' news programs. I simply cannot watch them anymore and the crazy thing is I obtained a degree in R-TV because of Cronkite.

Dear Zuckerberg, Musk, Witty, Bezos - this is not a threat, just a word to the wise - algorithms may have gotten Thompson what some would call his just deserves & it may be they are more of a threat to folks like yourselves than they are to the average person. Beware, the same might be true for AI.

I think he will not be confirmed by the Senate and if he is, I expect investigations into his years from 2016 to 2024.

@royandtanyaorganic.bsky.social I need some advice. I am trying to figure out a way to secure my small lathe to a slide that will allow me to move the lathe back out of the way when not in use and back in place and secure when I want to use it. I am trying to save as much space as possible.

I'm trying to stay away from politics, but please, can someone help me with this. If Trump was so messed up during his first term that he was impeached twice & Article 25 was being considered by members of his own party, how does anyone think he might be better off when he is 4 years more senile?

I'm convinced MSNBC & most of its talent are gravely compromised. I think they wanted Trump to win because he's a ratings gold mine for them. Over the past 9 years, it feels like they've spent most of their air time talking about him. How many billions have they earned talking about Trump?

Tomorrow night, I go for my first wood-turning meeting. It is called Windy City Woodturners and I am so excited. I don't even own a lathe yet but that will come this year or very early next year as a gift from my family.

@royandtanyaorganic.bsky.social Check this out. I am growing a small patch of raspberries and I planted nasturtium plants with the berry plants because the berries provide shade for the nasturtiums. The nasturtiums taste like mustard greens and people eat the leaves and flowers in their salads.

I'm a veteran. Two of my brothers were also veterans. One of my brothers lost his life in 1964 when the P2 aircraft on which he was a crewmember crashed into a mountain in Alaska while spying on Soviet subs. My family has been here since 1620 and I am grateful I got to serve this wonderful country.
