This is my 5th Stephen King book down. I never thought I’d ever appreciate his books in the way I do the movies adapting his work, but boy do I.
Off to read The Shining next.

Abstained from voting in some categories because I didn’t play games in some of them or don’t engage with e-sports and whatnot.

Unfortunate that the movie is confirmed to not be following the book ending which is honestly pretty dramatic and epic in a way that you probably don’t expect with a King novel.

Ubisoft clenched two nominations.
Honestly hoping Roget II wins this because his work with Outlaws and Helldivers II was so damn good.

My recency bias may be a factor, but I really just love what Dan Trachtenberg is doing for the IP and how he’s breathed new life into it by expanding on the lore and contextualizing how long the Yautja have interacted with humans and other species.

I liked it. Maybe not as much as Misery, but still pretty decent. The epistolary writing is rough and you can tell King was trying to find his footing when it comes to finding the right voice
