Next week marks a year since many abandoned the Twitter ship for good and took our chances with Bluesky. It wasn't an easy thing to do for the LC and CC communities, and some chose not to do it.

How has everyone's experience been since then? What more could be done to reconnect? What's missing?

Fastidiously and professionally.

"If you discover that your current perception of reality doesn’t align with the actual facts on Covid, it could be time to reevaluate your definition of normal. You could be suffering from UNS. Talk to your friends who are still taking precautions. They could be a source of comfort and stability."

“They can’t do that! The ADA protects you!”

People love to say this when you tell them you’ve been discriminated against or mistreated for being disabled

Just because someone technically shouldn’t do something, doesn’t mean they won’t

Dealing with discrimination is a part of being disabled

Total spin out tonight due to severe housing related stress & 48 hours of unrelenting GI issues.

Chronic illness can be such a bastard.

If at all possible, try never to make major life decisions when you’re not eating, drinking or sleeping.

Also… everyone deserves safe affordable housing.

They’ve realized “just following orders” isn’t a defence

The department didn’t end up saving trillions of dollars, but it did kill 600,000 people through cuts to USAID. Many more will continue to die. Lock them up

At one point in the 1990s, approximately 1 in 4 people with HIV were AIDS denialists

They believed HIV didn’t cause AIDS

They refused the drugs. Refused precautions

You don’t hear about them much anymore because they all died

RFK Jr peddled the narrative back then & he’s still peddling it today

I mentioned Emmanuel in my article about ICE enforcement being a mass disabling event.

Infections run rampant in the camps.

People are denied medical care and health accommodations.

ICE is furthering the regime’s eugenicist agenda:

ICE Enforcement May Be A Mass Disabling Event
ICE have proven again and again that they will target the most vulnerable. Their aggressive actions may even become a mass disabling event. Why aren't more people talking about it?

It costs next to nothing to wear a mask

It’s one of the best investments you can make in your long term health

Covid is still here & still disabling

It only takes one infection to change your life forever

Masks, especially N95s, are great protection!

If you can’t afford one try a mask block:

Receptor binding domain of SARS CoV2 spike protein exhibits in vitro liquid-liquid phase separation due to structural disorderedness that may challenge the vaccine-generated antibody binding - PubMed
In this study we expressed, purified and demonstrated the protein liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) formation by the receptor binding domain (RBD) of coronavirus spike protein in vitro. Our molecular dynamics simulations revealed multiple structurally disordered regions lacking secondary structu …

Researchers have found the virus’s spike protein can switch between solid and liquid-like states, making it harder for vaccine-generated antibodies to block the virus. They say this phase change may weaken vaccines and help the virus evolve into new variants.

They’re doing eugenics right out in the open now, largely because Trump, RFK Jr, Dr Oz and the rest of the fascists have been pushing a eugenicist agenda since they seized control.

It’s white Christian nationalism and it’s dangerous.

Disabled people are not “imperfect”.

We are also not expendable
