I'm a lifelong Democrat. I was in Grant Park the night Obama was elected; it was life changing. My mom had ALZ; I took care of her for 9 years. I kept notes, thinking they may be of help to someone on the same path: https://OnForgetting.com

Popular Science was an important byline in my career. I wrote some formative pieces for them, including a feature I consider one of my best. They even gave me a column for a little while. I hate this so much.
Venture capital killed a 151-year-old magazine that I and so many other people were proud to work for, until, of course, we were all laid off a few weeks ago.
After 151 years, Popular Science will no longer offer a magazine

We have a practicing Catholic as President, a man who prioritizes the good of all -- people over money -- and a lot of Catholics are more favorable toward trump, an amoral man, who places himself above our Constitution. I thought maybe they were one issue voters; Dobbs proved that theory wrong.
