GILEAD ALERT: I don’t like this. Just went to check in to my doctor appt in the MyChart system and they want to know my out of town trips. Obviously it could be helpful in diagnosing weird illnesses but i suspect it will be used to figure out who in red states left town to get an abortion.

READ THIS RE: COSTCO $32 wage: straight fr my local Costco mgr, this is NOT a starting wage. $32 is now top wage for supervisor. Starting wage for Costco is $19/20 & everyone starts part time. BUT you get a raise after 1000 hrs worked. Full timers get raises every six months.

FREEZE YOUR CREDIT RIGHT NOW. Because a gazillionaire has downloaded all your sensitive social security information to unsecured servers, and who knows who will have access to it. There are four credit bureaus to do it with, and you can do it online. freezing your credit is a good idea anyway.

Feeling helpless about *waves arms around?* it appears that calling your reps in Congress is a small thing you can do (emails and letters are apparently being ignored/tossed). This site gives you 1)your state’s reps and 2) a script to read from PER ISSUE when you call. 5calls.org

My brother, a loan officer at a bank, told me over Xmas that he’s had more than a few old men try to get a loan so they can send money to their online girlfriend. He tried to tell them they’re likely getting scammed, but the 60+ bald paunchy dude is SURE that a 20-something hottie is their true love
