My condolences to the community!
It's terrible, yesterday's news was truly awful. My son's been teaching at that school & knew the lad who's died, it's hit him pretty hard.

My condolences to the community!
I know things like this have happened in schools for years, it's now our access to the reporting of it that is more instant. But even so, as I say, I norm for the family that lost a child and feel for the kids that feel murder is the only answer to their problems. Growing up is hard enough!
I'd like to think the north/south divide is now a bit more banter, but maybe I'm naive. I have friends all over the country, of different creed and colour and it saddened me to read of the 15 year old boy, dead at school. My daughter is soon to be 12, and it's such a shame children are facing this!

Just like many people, I finally deactivated (in 30 days deleted) FKA Twitter, for all my accounts (work and personal). It feels like such a shame, as at the moment BlueSky is not quite as "busy" but maybe that is a good thing. It's not like I was ever particularly active, but it's the end of an era
