This week's pangram is a bit late, but worth the wait!

How an AI-generated summer reading list got published in major newspapers
Newspapers around the country, including the Chicago Sun-Times and at least one edition of The Philadelphia Inquirer, published a syndicated book list featuring made-up books by famous authors.

Routines can be great - sometimes. When you have writer's block, though, you can get stuck in a loop. Changing it up can get your words flowing again! 🌠 #BookSky

You can try to fake it, but if you want to really be able to write about life, you have to go and live your life too. Henry David Thoreau said it best, “How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.” 🖋️ #BookSky #LiveToWrite #WriteToLive

True in punditry and politics, but also in fiction writing! It's always a good idea to do your research - even if you don't plan to use all that newfound knowledge. #BookSky #ResearchRocks

Douglas Adams understood the pain of writer’s block:

Frankenstein may be Mary Shelley's most famous work, but it was far from her first. Thanks to the encouragement of a doting dad, novelist William Godwin, and her step-mom Mary Jane, she discovered her love of storytelling when she was just a little girl! #BookSky #SupportAuthors #GottaStartSomewhere

Sometimes inspiration comes in the form of a challenge. When working as a nurse during WWI, Agatha Christie’s sister bet that she couldn’t write a mystery readers couldn’t crack. Needless to say, Madge lost that bet! Poirot would soon become one of the most famous detectives in the world. #BookSky

Imposter syndrome? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Eric Blair, aka George Orwell, let himself become so consumed by self doubt when writing his first book, he gave it to a friend to trash it. Thankfully for us, Mabel Fierz did just the opposite - she found him an agent! #BookSky #SupportAuthors

In the early 1800s, a "lady author" was rather unseemly, but that didn't deter Jane Austen's family! With their support, she authored some of the wittiest, most perceptive stories from her time. Even her brother Henry played the role of her male agent to keep her identity a secret. #BookSky

Like many authors in the 50s, Frank Herbert began in sci-fi magazines. Even Dune was first published in 8 parts! Despite this, nearly 20 book publishers rejected the epic. Finally, editor Sterling Lanier of Chilton Book Company (known for auto manuals) snapped it up. That was 60 years ago! #BookSky
