The night of thanksgiving was always packed at the bars, and you'd see everyone you went to highschool with, because that's when people are back in town... After moving away then coming home, everyone needs a break from the excellent advice your relatives give you. 😅

Younger folks "go home" for Thanksgiving, and go out to the local haunts the night before & the Friday after Thanksgiving.
And plenty *also* go out Christmas Eve, too!
