Alberta will stop administering its current batch of COVID vaccines at the end of July.
Beginning August 11th, Albertans can pre-order the COVID (and flu vaccine) which will then be available sometime in October.

Jeff and I were scheduled for Covid vaccines today, got to the pharmacy and told we couldn’t after all because not over 65 and immunocompromised. So we need to wait til October and pay (but even then it’s not a given they’ll be available). Thanks and fuck you, Alberta government.

Growing up, I did my homework on a desk built by my grandfather. It has a map of the world on it.
On that desk is a sticker that my dad put on it, saying "END APARTHEID NOW".
So of course I support Free Palestine. It feels natural that I would grow up to oppose apartheid in all its forms.

I obviously do not pass them, because I don't want them following me.

for the 1st time since I was about 12, I'm having issues with selective mutism/being non-verbal in public.
I know some will think I am "not trying hard enough" and it's really disheartening.

I told someone I can only walk for about 1 hour a day.... And they tried to get me to walk 45 minutes to a store because "it's not that far".

PSA: There’s a difference between wearing a mask or respirator & wearing a gaiter or face covering to disguise identity. It’s important to discern & communicate this nuance because if you don’t, you might encourage elected officials to ban masks for everyone, which would be a public health disaster.
