Most yarn and game shops in pdx are very welcoming and I love them.
Except the west side yarn shop I stopped in to check out for the first time.
Maybe they were having an off day.

Like 30% of the country is absolutely enraged because they thought they were going to be able to be utter shitbirds without anyone being allowed to call them shitbirds, but here we are, calling them shitbirds.

In case it wasn't obvi, I'm watching Meet the Press this drizzly Sunday morning. This and News With My Fiance on @xrayfm.bsky.social are my weekly MUSTS. Love Kristen Welker's immediate fact checks. Love Morgan Jones and DJ Ambush's take on local issues.

Can Mamdani be my mayor? Mayor Wilson is not the worst Portand mayor, but we need to move Portland forward for all of us. *waves frantically from one of Portland's underfunded neighborhoods*

After my bg3 honor run where I won using the Gale bomb and I let Karlach combust, I'm taking a cozy break with Fields of Mistria. My last save had all this random new stuff from updates, was wonky, so I restarted. Halfway through summer year 1. Also: Hades 2.

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

An MA who checked my vital signs noticed my @ofnhp.bsky.social hoodie. We talked about unions. He said his union in Toledo, OH had felt like a family. I was thinking how a family should work. Taking care of each other. What does it mean exactly to my union fam? 1/2

Today in labor history: Nov 16
A county judge in Punxutawney, Pa. grants an injunction requested by Clearfield Bituminous Coal Co. forbidding strikers from speaking to scabs, posting signs declaring a strike is in progress, or singing hymns. Union leaders termed the injunction 'drastic." - 1927

Wow a report on Kaiser Permanente allegedly retaliating against a nurse for reporting safety concerns. I wonder what Kaiser might do against a CEO who violates labor law and causes a ULP strike. Why take back a successorship agreement? Do better, #Kaiser

Hell yeah. I finally got the Foehammer achievement. Used Bomb Gale - I was nervous I would somehow blow it in the end. I got pretty lucky with all other battles. Also accidently saved all the tieflings so got that one too. No matter how many times I play, I am so glad the writing is so good. #Bg3

We will further exacerbate an endless game of whack a mole where people become homeless and we expand contracts and industry for sweeps.

Everyone loses here.

There is a phishing attempt going through @bsky.app DMs.
Please mind your opsec.
If @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team have issues with your account, you should receive an email from them as opposed to a random DM.
Stay frosty.
So, I feel a little dumb for asking, but this is phishing, yes?
