Honestly they PROBABLY should just recast, de-aging just isn't where it needs to be for this to be effectively pulled off. You're better off finding someone who looks really close and can act. I love Viggo like he WAS Aragorn, but he can't be young Aragorn for forever.

Funny story. Growing up my dad (whose a singer) would sing The Electric Company Spider-Man Theme to me and my brother all the time on our long drives from our grandma's house to his house for our school breaks. I sing that song to this day, and until about last year I didn't know it was a real song.
My first exposure to #SpiderMan was almost certainly one of his appearances on the #ElectricCompany TV show. I still feel like this crude costume is closer to what Peter Parker would have made for himself than what we've seen in big budget Spider-Man movies.

Every #spiderman video discussing the importance of the character has to give you the exact same story of how Stan Lee and Steve Ditko came up with him, it's like- dude that's not necessary. We're talking about the significance of the Raimi film not the character as a whole cut this 5min out.
